HELLO, I’M ASHLEY

“Hello hello everyone, I’m Ashley! The idea of @mylegacyloading came to fruition when I found myself scrambling to figure out this whole “adult thing.” I am a recent college graduate navigating the so-called real world. Like many other recent graduates, I had to try out many different things and worked in many different industries before I was able to set my life direction on course. It only took several internships, a full-time job, and some stints in the start-up world to figure out my calling – entrepreneurship! Now I work on full scale brand development and marketing for multiple clients, and I’m making my life long dream of being my own boss come true. Whether you want to call all my prior career switches a crazy kind of ambition or just indecisiveness is up to you … All of those experiences taught me that there are so many ways to learn new skills. From being a student to a young professional on my own, I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to gain knowledge in an array of fields. However, I also know how daunting career changes and taking control of your own course can be. That’s why I started @mylegacylanding. I want to help all the hard-working women that consider themselves a work in progress by sharing resources, inspiration, and things I’ve learned.”

HELLO, I’M VALENTINA

“Hi everyone! I’m Val. I have chosen to take part in @mylegacyloading because, just a few years ago, I was little more than a first generation student with the big dream of becoming an attorney. I made it to law school without the advantage of professional or career guidance from my family, and I am currently externing under Judge Vu of the Lamareoux Justice Center. I may not have had the advantage of my family being able to guide me in my career, but I did meet several women along my journey that became my role models and inspired me to fight for my place in the world. Now, I strive to be that helping hand for any other woman who is still working on their career and life direction. More importantly, I am still a work in progress myself! It’s incredibly important for women to know that they are capable of creating their legacy in any professional field, and @mylegacyloading is all about arming the women of tomorrow to take control of their life direction. Welcome!”

HELLO, I’M CLAUDIA

“Hi there! My name is Claudia, and I have chosen to take part in @mylegacyloading because of how inspired I have become during my undergraduate college experience with the help of all of the influential women around me. I am currently graduating a year early, and have just recently finished completing graduate school applications. My biggest struggle has been standing strong in what I want in life and starting that journey. I was unsure of the steps it would take to reach my goals, but the most important thing that I have learned is to start small and to continually take baby steps in that direction. No one has a definite layout of success. As long as you’re happy with what you’re working on, that’s all that matters and you will one day get to where you want to be. I have had so much help in getting me to where I am today, that I wanted a platform to be able to help inspire other girls that have been/or are currently in my place. It’s important to dream big, but a huge factor to turning those dreams into a reality is creating actionable steps to get you there. Which is exactly why we’re here to help!”

HELLO, I’M KRISTINA

” Hi there, I’m Kristina, and I’ve been drawn to my Legacy Loading since the minute I had first head about it. Growing up a first generation immigrant in an intimidating yet promising country, I had always anticipated challenges along the road; yet I could’ve never predicted the obstacles that faced me throughout my college experience. If there is anything I’ve learned through four years and countless hours spent studying and immersing myself in the college culture, its that despite your best efforts, preconceived notions and the endless stories from those around you, every college experience is different. There is no cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all college experience; there is no correct way to go about this intimidating yet endlessly rewarding journey. And I’m here to reassure you that, if you think this annihilation of standards within the academic sphere is refreshing, you’re in for a pleasant surprise when venturing through the working world right after. Join me as I navigate through this  journey of self exploration, motivation and boundless determination. If there’s anything I’ve learned from years and countless hours of studying, it’s that all of that doesn’t do much if your heart truly isn’t invested in it. My biggest challenges have come from the most unassuming experiences; my most rewarding moments have come from times of true grit and determination. I’m here to share my raw view of the world, it’s expertise, it’s lessons, and the small, meaningful moments in between that makes up my genuine perception of it all.”
